Christmas 2014

Christmas was a little weird for us this year. Usually we wake up, quickly open presents here, rush to my parents' house for more presents and food, then rush to spend Christmas evening with Jordan's family. But this year Jordan's family all came into town at weird times, so we got to spend Christmas morning here, then spent the rest of the day with my parents. We ended up going home early and putting the girls to bed at a decent time and then spent the rest of the night in the quiet of our own home. Wow. It was pretty awesome.

Emmy was pretty fun this year. Last year she was too little to comprehend what was happening, but this year she really got into it. She loved opening her presents and squealed about everything.

The rocking horse was a big hit, and Catherine promptly named it Sara, after her Aunt Sara, of course!

You can't tell from this picture but these dolls got the biggest shriek of excitement I've ever witnessed. Evie was so happy to finally get an Ariel doll!

They racked in quite the haul. Not only did they get too much stuff from us, my parents also spoiled them with a ton of presents.

It was a very nice, quiet, holiday. I love spending Christmas with my little family!
