Emmy's 18 (19) Month Appointment

This baby is now 19 months old! We took her for her routine check up this morning, and my ego was again boosted at hearing I have successfully kept her healthy and happy for over a year and a half. Emiliana is now 33 inches long (75th percentile) and almost 25 pounds (50th percentile). She is running, climbing, talking, and doing everything else she's supposed to do. I toted along her big sisters  and the pediatrician told me (again) what well behaved, happy, and cooperative children I have. Good job, girls; you earned that cupcake.

Emmy is such a joy. She loves to give kisses and snuggle on our laps to read a book. She tries desperately to keep up with her sisters. She says adorable things like, "Purple boooots!" And "There she is!" Which just sounds like "'ere ee is!" After watching "Big Hero 6" she now holds her little fist out and goes "Balalala!" So cute. She likes to draw and color and read. She likes cars and dolls and animals. She has recently taken to sleeping with Smup, an alligator we got in St. Augustine. She's generally just a very happy, easy going toddler. And she's healthy. Healthy is always good.
